The France international’s latest Instagram post following PSG’s defeat to Bayern Munich has sparked transfer speculations.
Kylian Mbappe has raised a few eyebrows with his Instagram post after returning to action in PSG’s 1-0 loss to Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.
Mbappe came on in the second half as PSG trailed in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 clash against Bayern at Parc des Princes.
Mbappe's post causes confusion
The 24-year-old had an impactful cameo, although he had two goals ruled out for offside by VAR.
The result leaves PSG with a mountain to climb as they have to go to Germany and beat Bayern by two clear goals to progress to the quarter-final.
While Mbappe is hopeful, his post after the game raised concerns after appearing to mention Manchester United.
The World Cup winner said: All that remains to be done. Manchester United's team is now on @psg.
Mbappe’s post got a reaction from United’s in-form striker Marcus Rashford, who responded with a fire emoji.
Mbappe's post raises speculation over his future
The France international’s latest post is certainly set to raise speculations over his future. Mbappe’s future in Paris remains in question despite turning down Real Madrid to sign a lucrative three-year deal with PSG.
The former Monaco man has expressed his desire to win the Champions League in the past, and with PSG facing another second-round exit, Mbappe could consider his future in the summer.
However, it is unlikely that United will be able to afford the World Cup winner as Mbappe will go for a potential world-record fee if PSG decide to sell.
Les Parisens have no intention of selling their star man, though, as he is seen as the leader of a long-term project in Paris.
