Samuel Koko believes Mathare United can survive relegation.
Mathare United interim coach Samuel Koko believes that his team must learn to capitalize on its chances in front of goal if they are to stand a chance of surviving relegation at the end of the season.
Speaking in the aftermath of the side’s 2-1 loss to Kariobangi Sharks in the Slum Derby, the coach who doubles up as a goalkeeper trainer said his side missed “three to four chances” that would have given them a different result.

Oduor scored a goal that will rack up the goal-of-the-season contendor highlights against his former club KCB on Tuesday.
Koko believes that if the side is to survive relegation, they must learn to be more clinical.
“We need to work harder in training to improve where we are weak, especially in front of goal. We need to sharpen our finishing line. If we can add more goals to our collection, we can win games,” he said.
