The Getafe star was a high-flyer in the Manchester United academy, with many who saw him play as a youngster declaring that he was destined for greatness. He finished as the top scorer in the U18 Premier League North with 17 goals in 21 games despite being one of the youngest players in the age group and he was also named Player of the Tournament at the ICGT Trophy in the Netherlands.
Greenwood immediately made headlines at Manchester United during his first full season when he became the club's youngest-ever goalscorer in European competition when he scored against Astana in the Europa League at 17 years and 353 days.
