Maroons FC will hope to ascend further on the table when they host Onduparaka FC on Tuesday afternoon at the Luzira Prisons stadium.
The StarTimes Uganda Premier League final bend is tight at the top, but the battle for who finishes in the top four and who will be relegated is also as close.
Maroons FC will hope to ascend further on the table when they host Onduparaka FC on Tuesday afternoon at the Luzira Prisons stadium.
While Onduparaka will confirm their departure to the FUFA Big League if they fail to avoid defeat.
According to the coach, Maroon's Mohamed Senfuma have managed to make the Luzira Stadium a fortress, losing only once there, and they are not about to surrender the home turf.
"It's another game for us to do our best, just like other games we have played here," Senfuma told Pulse Sports.
"We hope to work as a unit to win against Onduparaka; we know they're also in dire need of maximum points, but we're ready."
On the other hand, the Caterpillars need maximum points; currently, at the bottom of the log, defeat in Luzira would all but seal their fate in the top flight.
Onduparaka earned automatic promotion to the top flight at the end of the 2016 season and have since never returned down relegation would mean the end of their six-year stay in the league.
A win for Senfuma's side will take them to fourth position on 40 points, two ahead of Arua Hills FC, while an Onduparaka win would move them to 19 points but will remain bottom of the league.
