Maroons FC youngster Darius Ojok was the worthy victor of the Pilsner Uganda Premier League Young Player of the Season.
Ojok won the award in the Sheraton Hotel, Kampala glamour on Thursday.
Ojok was a pillar for the Prison Warders especially in their excellent second round of the 2022/23 campaign.
Out of his overall 15 appearances, 14 came in the second part of the campaign, with just one from the first, managing three goals.
He beat KCCA FC midfielder Saidi Mayanja and SC Villa attacking midfielder Patrick Kakande
In the other categories, Blacks Power FC won the Fair Play Award after collecting 30 yellow cards and no red card.
SC Villa forward clinched the Players' Player of the season award as voted for by the 15 captains in the league.
Milton Karisa took home the Coaches' Player of the Season award, after a pulsating campaign with Vipers.
