Former Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli confesses that he has fallen out of love with expensive cars.
Mario Balotelli has reportedly sold his Ferrari and Lamborghini after losing his passion for supercars.
The former Manchester City and Liverpool striker is one of the most controversial Italian footballers of all time.
Over the years, Balotelli has become known for his love of expensive automobiles, and his impressive career earnings has seen him put together an mouth-watering collection of supercars over the years.
However, Balotelli says he has now fallen out of love with his cars, revealing he has gotten rid of his Ferrari and Lamborghini, while looking to sell some of his other exotic cars as well.
Speaking to Italian podcast Blick, Balotelli said: 'In my garage I still have an RSQ8, 500 Abarth and GTR Nismo Nissan with 1400 hp.
But I'm also selling the Abarth now,'
According to the Daily Mail, Balotelli has had his car impounded a ridiculous 27 times, and was involved in a number of accidents during his time in England.
The 32-year-old Italy international has also looked to defend himself by suggesting he was not at fault for any of the incidents.
'I had two or three accidents in England. I crashed into one once because someone in front of me braked out of nowhere. And one drove into me and then they said I caused the accident,' Balotelli explained.
Balotelli is now at the 11th club of his career after joining Swiss side Sion last summer.
The former Man City and Liverpool striker has also represented AC Milan and Inter, amongst a host of other clubs.
Balotelli enjoyed a great start to life in Switzerland scoring in four of his first six league outings.
However, he has only managed to score once in 2023.
The controversial striker was recently embroiled in another war of words with his former boss and Italy national team coach Roberto Mancini as he seeks a return back to the national team, following the latter’s comments about Italy’s lack of attacking talents.
