Goals from Nicolas Jackson, Enzo Fernandez, and Cole Palmer sealed the win for the Blues.
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca was pleased with his team's performance after the Blues secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Aston Villa in the Premier League.
Chelsea's early pressure paid off when Nicolas Jackson scored a clinical goal past Emiliano Martinez. The goal was controversial, with Aston Villa players claiming a foul on Jaden Philogene in the build-up. However, the goal stood, giving Chelsea a 1-0 lead.
The Blues extended their lead through a well-taken goal by Enzo Fernandez, who capitalised on a defensive error. The Argentine midfielder's goal further solidified Chelsea's dominance in the match.
Chelsea's third goal came from Cole Palmer, who finished off a well-worked team move.
Maresca was pleased with his team's performance and praised the contributions of Jackson and Fernandez, who have been in good form recently.
"The performance was very good. Top performance on and off the ball and very happy with the three points.

Enzo Fernandez continues spectacular form after leaving his wife as Chelsea hammer Aston Villa
Chelsea enjoyed a routine win over Aston Villa, with recently separated Enzo Fernandez among the goals once again
"They are attacking players, they need to be in the box when we are attacking. Today, we saw that they scored in both games. Enzo was in the right position, so we just need to continue," he said.
The Chelsea boss also provided an update on Wesley Fofana, who was forced off the pitch with a muscular injury.
"It's a muscular problem, looks like a hamstring, we'll see. No idea at the moment (how long he'll be out for)," Maresca said.
Chelsea will travel to St. Mary's Stadium on Tuesday for a date against Southampton.
