Chelsea new boss Enzo Maresca has revealed his main sriker for the upcoming season.
Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has clarified his plans for Nicolas Jackson ahead of the new season, confirming that the Senegal international will be used as the main striker for next season.
Despite missing several chances last season, Jackson had a successful first year in English football, scoring 17 goals and providing six assists in 44 appearances.

Chelsea boss Maresca to use Jackson after snubbing Osimhen
With the addition of Marc Guiu to the forward ranks and the decision to back out of a move for Victor Osimhen, Jackson will be relied upon to lead the line for Chelsea.
Maresca said, "Nicolas, this morning, had his first session with us... And for the position, I see Nicolas as a striker."
When asked about the potential for Jackson to play on the flank, Maresca added, "For a moment of the season, all of them can play in different positions... Nicolas is a number nine but if we need him out on the wing, he will be a winger."
Maresca's comments come after Chelsea decided not to pursue a move for Osimhen, instead opting to bank on Jackson for the upcoming season.
This decision suggests that the club has faith in Jackson's abilities and will allow him to shine as the team's primary striker.
