Spanish Segunda Division side Elche have confirmed the signing of Kenyan winger Garvin Gachangi from lower-tier side Villena CF.
The left inside forward joined the Elche reserves in July but has now been promoted to the senior side as per the announcement by the club after impressing with the reserve side.
In a statement posted on the club’s website, Gachangi has signed a two-year contract after agreeing terms with the Spanish club.

Gachangi is a winger who can play on both flanks and whose role model is Brazilian international Neymar.
Gachangi was born in Kenya but moved to the Netherlands in 2014 with his mother. One year later, the then 11-year-old joined amateur side VV ONI.
