Mathare United, Naivas, and Nairobi United are trailing Mara Sugar who have secured Premier League promotion with a 4-0 win.

National Super League (NSL) side Mara Sugar FC have officially secured promotion to the FKF Premier League next season after a commanding 4-0 victory over Silibwet Leons at Awendo Green Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The triumph not only celebrates their ascent but also marks their 11th consecutive unbeaten game in the league.

Mara Sugar's ascendancy in the league has been evident throughout the season and their latest performance underlined their dominance.

Goals from Joseph Okwenda, Mike Isabwa, Reuben Mita, and Matthias Isogol ensured a comfortable win against the relegation-threatened Silibwet

The floodgates opened in the 22nd minute when Matthias Isogol unleashed a spectacular strike, setting the tone for the afternoon.

As the first half neared its conclusion Reuben Mita doubled the lead with a well-timed effort sending Mara into the break with a solid advantage.

The second half saw Mara Sugar continuing to press their opponents. Mike Isabwa added a third goal in the 50th minute with a precise finish.

The Sugar Millers' relentless attack yielded a fourth goal through Joseph Okwenda in the 83rd minute sealing a resounding victory.

With this win, Mara Sugar has accumulated 78 points, a tally unattainable by their closest rivals third and fourth-placed Naivas and Nairobi United who are vying for the remaining promotion spots.

The Narok-based outfit's focus now shifts to surpassing the 80-point mark a feat not achieved in recent years setting a new benchmark in the league.

The league's dynamics were further shaped by the outcome of other key matches.

Second-placed Mathare United missed an opportunity to secure automatic promotion as Naivas FC kept their hopes alive by defeating MCF 1-0.

The crucial goal by Brian Ouru at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos keeps the promotion race open with four matches remaining in the season.
