The Red Devils are making plans ahead of the summer, and are prepared to sell some players in their squad.
Manchester United are ready to sell Anthony Martial and Harry Maguire when the transfer window opens this summer.
Martial joined United from AS Monaco in 2015, but his time at the club has been full of ups and downs.
United to let Martial go
Although the France international has 85 goals and 52 assists in 283 appearances for the Red Devils, there is a feeling that Martial could do more.
His cause has not been helped by injuries, with Martial struggling for fitness since last season. He has played just 14 times in all competitions for Man Utd this season, scoring six goals and notching two assists.
But with the 27-year-old struggling physically, it appears United are ready to sell the ex-Sevilla man.
According to Manchester Evening News, United also do not believe Martial is not the solution to their search for a striker and are ready to let him leave as they plan to find a long-term solution in the summer.
Martial’s current contract at Manchester United expires in the summer of 2024, but United are ready to sell him this summer to raise money for a long-term striker.
Maguire to suffer the same fate
The same fate is also set to befall Harry Maguire, who is the club’s current captain. Maguire joined United from Leicester City for a whopping €87.00m.
However, Maguire has failed to justify the price tag United paid for him. The 29-year-old has also fallen in the pecking order this season, with just nine Premier League to his name.
Maguire was linked with a move away from United last month but stayed put despite interests from West Ham and Juventus.
However, United are ready to sell the England international this summer. Maguire has two-and-a-half years left on his contract at Old Trafford.
