At the time of writing in June 2023, David De Gea is currently the highest earner at Manchester United.

The Spanish goalkeeper banks £375,000 a week on his current Manchester United contract which was signed in September 2019 and will expire on June 30, 2023, less than two weeks from the time of writing.
This means that De Gea has earned £19,000,500 per annum over the last four years of his career, making him of the highest-paid goalkeepers in the world.
De Gea joined Manchester United from Atletico Madrid in 2011 and has been one of the club’s most important players ever since.
The 32-year-old has been named Manchester United Player of the Season four times, won two Premier League Golden Gloves and was even named in the FIFPro World XI for 2018.
His reputation as one of the best goalkeepers of his generation is uncontestable which is how he was able to command such a huge remuneration in the first place.

Jack Butland - £35,000 per week

Alex Telles - £37,500 per week
Brazilian left fullback Alex Telles spent the entire 2022/23 season on loan at Sevilla but Manchester United were still responsible for his wages.

Tom Heaton - £45,000 per week
Second-choice goalkeeper Tom Heaton was signed from Aston Villa in 2021 on a one-year deal that was soon extended for one more year.
