The Manchester United legend urged his former club to ditch the decision to sign Joshua Zirkzee for an experienced forward.
The legendary Manchester United striker, Dwight Yorke, is not a happy man these days having expressed his displeasure over the club's reported move to make young Dutch forward Joshua Zirkzee their first signing of the INEOS era.
Yorke, who was a key part of United's treble-winning team in 1999, believes the club should be looking to sign an experienced striker instead of another young forward.

Manchester United legend speaks on Zirkzee
His concerns stem from the fact that the Red Devils already have 21-year-old Rasmus Hojlund, who joined the club last summer for a hefty £72 million fee.
Names like [Joshua] Zirkzee being linked to Man United is baffling," Yorke said per MSN via Best Payout Online Slots.
They need a player who can definitely score goals and knows how to play in the Premier League."
The former striker is particularly worried that Hojlund, who struggled towards the end of last season, will come under immense scrutiny if he doesn't hit the ground running next season.
Yorke believes that the honeymoon period is over for Hojlund and that he needs to "grow up very quickly" to succeed at Manchester United.
Yorke's advice to the club is clear: they should be targeting an experienced striker to provide the necessary support and guidance to Hojlund.
The United legend is adamant that the club needs a player with "resilience and not a weak mentality" to thrive at Old Trafford, just like the players Sir Alex Ferguson used to sign.
Meanwhile, Manchester United's search for Dutch talent continues as they have reportedly identified Netherlands midfielder Xavi Simons and Bayern Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt as their next targets.
The 21-year-old Simons, who impressed at the Euros, is attracting interest from several top clubs, and the Red Devils are believed to be at the forefront of the chase.
For De Ligt, Manchester United, who have also fortified the backroom with more Dutch coaches, are now fully focused on securing the signature of the Bayern Munich defender, with negotiations already underway and a five-year deal reportedly agreed.
As the summer transfer window heats up, Dwight Yorke's concerns will surely be echoed by many Man United fans, who are desperate to see the club return to the glory days of the past.
But the pressure is on Erik ten Hag and the club's new hierarchy to make the right decisions in the market and bring in the right players to strengthen the squad for the upcoming season.
