Manchester United are reportedly keen on signing Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha ahead of next season.
The Red Devils are finalizing plans ahead of a busy summer and have identified Palhinha as an option in midfield to partner Casemiro.
Man United make Palhinha top target
According to the Sun, the 27-year-old is valued at £60m by Fulham but Manchester United hope they can negotiate a lower deal for his services.
Palhinha has been a star for Fulham since arriving from Portugal in the summer midfielder and his performances have caught the attention of a number of clubs.
Erik ten Hag is in the market for an upgrade to Scott McTominay who has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford and Fred who has been underwhelming during his time in Manchester.
The Red Devils signed Casemiro last summer, and the Brazilian international has been an instant hit. They will need to bring in a quality partner for him, and Palhinha certainly fits the profile.
