Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag indulged in a well-deserved celebratory meal at his beloved Italian haunt, Piccolino, on Sunday night.

The Red Devils edged Liverpool in a seven-goal thriller and secured a place in the semi-final against Coventry.

Amad Diallo's late winner in the 121st minute sealed the win for United at Old Trafford as they set their sight on the FA Cup trophy this season.

Ten Hag and co enjoyed a three-hour meal at Piccolino before exiting the restaurant at around 11 pm," revealed an eyewitness, as reported by Daily Mail.

The Man United manager has regularly visited the Italian restaurant during his two years in Manchester and was seen dining there after a previous match against Brighton in 2022.

The restaurant holds sentimental value for Ten Hag, who sought solace there earlier this season instead of watching Manchester City's Champions League clash before the Manchester derby.

Casemiro and Diogo Dalot, among other squad members, have also frequented Piccolino to celebrate victories, cementing its status as a favourite among the team.

Ten Hag will hope the win over Liverpool gives him some breathing space as he fights to keep hold of his job following the arrival of new part-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

With United languishing in sixth place in the Premier League and facing the prospect of missing out on Champions League football, the pressure is mounting on Ten Hag to deliver results.
