Haaland leads the Cityzens scoring this season with 30 goals in 40 matches in all competitions, including 21 strikes in 28 Premier League games.

Manchester City forced to adapt amidst Haaland blow

With Haaland out, January signing from Frankfurt, Omar Marmoush, could be given an extended run in the starting lineup.

Guardiola admitted that City lacks another player with Haaland’s unique qualities, saying, “We don’t have another player like him, but we have to adapt.”

The Premier League season concludes on May 25, just before Haaland is expected to recover with Manchester City still fighting for a place in the top four that will qualify them for next season’s Champions League.

The Cityzens also hope he will be fit for the Club World Cup in June, but until then, they must find a way to cope without their star striker.
