Manchester City's Ilkay Gündogan and wife Sara Benarima have become parents for the first time following the arrival of their baby boy, Kais.
Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan is now a father. The City skipper has taken to social media to announce the arrival of his first child Kais, after his wife Sara successfully put to bed on Wednesday.
Sara shared the news on her social media page on Wednesday evening, hours after they welcomed their baby boy into the world.
She shared pictures of herself and her husband holding Kais alongside an adorable close up shot of the baby's arm and ear.
Captioning the post, she wrote: "Our love is here. Kais Gündoğan 15.03.23".

The post was met with warm wishes from friends and Gundogan's Man City teammates.
