Potential buyers are set to meet with Manchester United this week for crunch talks as steps continue towards a potential takeover
The Manchester United takeover saga continues with no resolution reached yet. Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and Sir Jim Ratcliffe have lodged the only official bids so far, from Qatar and INEOS respectively.
The Glazers announced a soft deadline of February 17 for any potential bids as they looked to speed up the sale. The idea was that by that point, any potential buyer would provide details and proof of funds to Raine Group, the investment banking firm overseeing the process.

According to 90min, Sheikh Jassim, the son of a former Qatari prime minister is slated to meet with the Glazers on Thursday, while the INEOS contingent, led by including Ratcliffe will be in Manchester for talks the next day.
