Manchester United defender Leny Yoro has been spotted putting in a protective boot with crutches after limping off against Arsenal during a pre-season friendly.

The Red Devils completed the signing of Yoro from Lille a few weeks ago for a fee worth £52million.

The defender had a positive impact in his first preseason game but suffered an unexpected injury in their second preseason game.

Yoro’s injury has put the Red Devils in a difficult situation and the defender may miss United’s start of the season.

According to TalkSports, United is taking the time to thoroughly evaluate the situation before releasing an official statement regarding their new centre-back.

However, Yoro is not expected to be ready for the start of the upcoming Premier League season, according to manager Erik ten Hag.
