According to reports, Harry Maguire will decide his club's future based on Erik ten Hag's dismissal.
Manchester United have started the new season poorly, despite the club backing Ten Hag with a new contract.
Given United's dismal start to the 2024–25 season, Ten Hag's future at Old Trafford is far from assured.
With only 11 points earned out of a possible 24, the Red Devils are currently in 11th place in the Premier League standings.

Maguire to decide future
Football Insider claims that Maguire, who is in the last year of his contract at United, is "waiting" for Ten Hag to be relieved of his responsibilities before deciding on his future.
The reports claimed that “Harry Maguire will wait until Erik ten Hag is sacked by Man United before deciding his long-term future at Old Trafford.”
“The centre-back is keen to assess whether he will play an increased role under a new boss after Ten Hag’s exit.
“The England international will not rush into any decisions until the manager’s future is confirmed.”
Additionally, it has been stated that Maguire and United have not yet begun negotiations on a new contract.
Maguire is still recuperating from an injury he suffered during United's match against Aston Villa, which took place shortly before the October international break.
Meanwhile, Manchester United returned to winning ways against Brentford at the weekend, having come from behind to claim a 2-1 win.
Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho both scored in the second half to offset Ethan Pinnock's contentious first goal shortly before halftime.
