Ilkay Gundogan will be a free agent at the end of the month and he is yet to decide whether to stay at Manchester City or leave the club.
Gundogan captained Manchester City to a Champions League triumph against Inter Milan on Saturday night as the Etihad club completed a historic treble.
City had previously defeated Manchester United in the FA Cup final, with Gundogan, scoring both goals in a 2-1 win over their fierce rivals.
Gundogan future undecided
The 32-year-old will be a free agent when his contract expires at the end of June.
Man City have only offered a one-year extension, while the German midfielder would like a three year deal instead, something Barcelona have reportedly offered.
Arsenal and Barcelona remain strong admirers withreports from Spain last week going as far as claiming a deal was agreed, something Gundogan's agent denied.
On Saturday night, Gundogan told ESPN: “I haven’t decided my future yet. I am fully focused on celebrating this amazing achievement with my teammates"
