Riyadh Mahrez has denied rumours linking him to Saudi Arabia and says his focus is now on the AFCON qualifiers and a holiday treat after a long season.
Manchester City and Algeria national team captain Riyadh Mahrez has quashed rumours linking him to a move to Saudi Arabia.
Earlier this week, reports linked the 32-year-old to a $40 million move to Al Hilal in one of the latest swoops to lure players to the Gulf nation.
The striker told the media on Saturday morning that he is concentrating on running down his contract at Manchester City, which has remained for two years.

Riyadh Mahrez and Said Benrahma won the UEFA Champions league and Europa Conference League with Manchester City and West Ham respectively.
“I have two years left in Manchester. So far, there is NOTHING,” he was quoted by Algeria FA media.
The player said that his focus now is on the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Uganda on Sunday in Cameroon.
“I am concentrating on these two games (Uganda and Tunisia), and then I will go on vacation inshallah,” he added.

AFCON 2023 Mahrez strikes late to drag Algeria closer to qualification
The victory takes Algeria to nine points in three games and closer to qualification. A win against the same opponent in the return leg on Monday of next week will be enough to seal the ticket to Ivory Coast.
The Desert Foxes will play an international friendly against Tunisia on Tuesday, two days after their game with Uganda.
