Luzira cut the gap at the top to five points. They have accumulated 33 points, while the leaders, Park FC, are on 38 points with a game in hand.

Futbol Club of Luzira have regained their second position in the BetPawa Futsal Super League after humiliating Kawempe FC 12-3 on Matchday 15.

Luzira had dropped to the third position after losing 4-3 to Kampala Junior Team FC (KJT) last week.

In addition to their comfortable victory over Kawempe at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena on Thursday, Kisenyi FC, who had leapfrogged them a week ago, dropped points in a 4-4 draw with Kabowa Dream Team FC.

Arafat Ssentongo scored half a dozen of Luzira’s goals, Joshua Aziku bagged a quadruple, and a goal apiece for Edmund Bithum and Samuel Omara.

Ashraf Walugembe, Fahad Kinyowe, and Timothy Dembe were the scorers of Kawempe’s three goals.

Kisenyi slipped to the third position with 32 points, while Kawempe remained without a point at the base of the 12-team log.

In the other game played on the same day, Aidenal FC recorded their third win of the season by defeating KJT 4-1.

Matchday 15 will end on Friday with three fixtures involving table leaders Park who will entertain Lubaga Grameen, Mengo City FC will play against Edgars Youth Programme while Nansana Aska FC will battle with Kisugu FC.
