West Ham United moved to the top of the Premier League thanks to a 2-1 victory over Luton Town courtesy of goals from Jarrod Bowen and Kurt Zouma.
West Ham made sure Luton's first home game of the season ended badly as David Moyes' men inflicted a third straight defeat on their hosts at Kenilworth Road.
How it happened
The first 15 minutes were cagey as Luton stayed compact and defended deep in their own half.
However as the half went on, West Ham began to grow into the game and the visitors produced the all-important breakthrough eight minutes before the interval.
Lucas Paquetá brilliantly picked out Bowen at the back post, giving the winger the simple task of heading home from six yards to put the Hammers ahead.
West Ham dominated most of the game and finally put the game to bed with 5 minutes remaining when Zouma rose highest in the six-yard box to head home from James Ward-Prowse’s set-piece.
A stoppage-time consolation from Mads Juel Andersen gave the home fans something to cheer but it did nothing to stop West Ham's third win on the bounce.
