Luka Modric and David Beckham link up in Croatia, sparking transfer rumours.

Inter Miami executive David Beckham has sparked transfer rumours and conversations over his choice of vacation spot.

The 49-year-old is a part owner of the Miami-based Major League Soccer franchise and has been key to the current ascent of the club's profile.

He influenced Lionel Messi's decision to join Inter Miami, as he met with the Argentina international a number of times before his move to the USA.

While the former ex-Barcelona forward was at PSG, pictures of him and Beckham talking foreshadowed his move to Inter Miami.

He is now pictured with Luka Modric vacationing in Croatia, and this has led to rumours about a possible move for the ex-Tottenham star to the MLS side.

According to The Sun, Victoria Beckham, the wife of the former England international, shared pictures of her and her spouse vacationing off the coast of Sipan in Croatia.

Modric seemed to also be on vacation with his partner, as loved-up pictures of him and his wife, Vanja Bosnic, were shared.

Modric and Beckham linked up during their holiday, and the former winger looked to be trying to sell an idea to Modric.

Inter Miami collecting superstars

Despite the Saudi League's emergence as the destination for superstars in their Twilight, the MLS proved to still be able to attract such footballers with the signing of Lionel Messi.

The Argentine's joining the league quickly influenced similar moves for his ex-Barcelona teammates Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets.

Although Ancelotti confirmed that Modric wants to stay at Real Madrid this season, he might be headed out the door next summer due to drastically reduced game time.

The prospect of joining his former teammates Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema in the Pro League could well be an option, but the chance to play with Messi at Inter Miami will remain enticing.
