Mo Salah swapped his boots in the second-half, and it has now been suggested that was his winning formular in Liverpool's victory against Newcastle United.

Mo Salah's second-half performance against Newcastle United was one for the history books, and it is suggested that his 'lucky charm' was his change of boots at half-time.

Liverpool had a wasteful first half, highlighted by Mo Salah missing a penalty and several missed chances from the strikers.

Despite this, Jurgen Klopp's men came back like wounded lions in the second half, creating several chances, and missed quite several clear-cut ones but were still able to nick the win through a Mo Salah brace and goals from Cody Gakpo and Curtis Jones.

The Reds walked away 4-2 winners at Anfield to stay top of the Premier League table and retain their position as favourites to win the most prestigious title in English club competition.

The Egyptian King's brace and assist were the deciding moments as he continued his impeccable form this season.

His first goal was a tap-in provided through a Darwin Nunez cross, the second was a penalty after Diogo Jota was impeded in the box, and his assist was a brilliant outside-the-box cross to Gakpo, as Jones scored the fourth goal in which he was also significant in the lead-up.

"The players spoke in the dressing room at half-time. We have to stay calm. At half-time, I was like: "Are you gonna leave to the national team with that performance?", No, not really." said Mo Salah in a post-match interview with Sky Sports after winning the Man of the Match award.

Screenshots will later reveal that the Liverpool legend changed his boots before coming out for the concluding part of the game. These Adidas boots described as his 'lucky charm', are vital in scoring and winning games.
