Kenya Police made it two wins in a row while Muranga Seal continued their fines start as Kariobangi Sharks lost to Ulinzi Stars in the FKF Premier League matches on Saturday

Kenya Police new coach Zdravko Logarusic maintained his winning start back in Kenya as his side secured a 1-0 victory over Nairobi City Stars in a Football Kenya Federation Premier League match at the Kenya Police Sacco grounds on Saturday.

South Sudan striker Tito Okello made all the difference as he scored the goal on the stroke of halftime to give Logarusic's men the win.

It is the second straight win for Police who beat Bidco United 2-0 last weekend in what was the Croatian tactician’s first league match since he replaced Francis Baraza at the helm of the law enforcers.

Meanwhile, Murang’a Seal also continued their brilliant start to the season following a 2-0 victory over struggling Sofapaka who sacked Burundian coach Francis Harungingo last weekend.

Ezekiel Akwana was the man installed, albeit on interim basis, in the Sofapaka hot seat but he could do nothing to stop the slide as Murang’a went ahead after 10 minutes through John Kiplagat who connected well with Dennis Wabwire’s pass.

Kiplagat would seal his brace one minute to halftime when he netted the second for Murang’a to the delight of the home supporters.

Dennis Maruti pressed the Sofapaka defence before winning the ball and finding Wilson Kamau who danced his way inside the box before unleashing an unstoppable shot that was parried away by the Sofapaka goalkeeper. The ball fell to an unmarked Kiplagat inside the box and he made no mistakes.

At the Ulinzi Complex, Ulinzi Stars secured their second win of the season, beating Kariobang Sharks 1-0, courtesy of Enosh Ochieng.

Mark Bikokwa won a loose ball before finding Ochieng who struck home to give Anthony Kimani’s side what turned out to be the match winner.
