Three days after edging a five-goal thriller between both sides in the EFL Cup, the Reds will host the Seagulls in the Premier League on Saturday. Here are predictions, team news, betting tips, and possible line-ups for the game.

Liverpool remain on course to retain the EFL Cup after winning it for a record 11th time last season with a 3-2 win against Brighton at the Amex Stadium on Wednesday night.

Arne Slot’s men lost the top spot in the Premier League table after last weekend's 2-2 draw with Arsenal, where they came from behind twice, leaving them in second place and one point behind table-topping Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Brighton will hope to avenge Wednesday’s defeat, especially after failing to hold on for the win in a dramatic 2-2 draw with Wolves in their last Premier League game.

Liverpool vs. Brighton Head to Head

Liverpool have won only two of the last eight PL meetings between both sides, after winning each of the first six.
