A dream come true
The Red Devils have a chance of lifting their first trophy in six years, and Antony is pumped to help the club achieve this. The Brazil international recognizes the significance of putting a halt to the club’s trophy drought, and it will be a dream come true to win a trophy in his first season at the club.
“When I came here, I said that Manchester United is a huge club, and we’re going to put this club back where it belongs—fighting for and winning trophies,” he said while speaking to the club’s website.
“We know that it’ll be a tough task, but we’re aware of how big we are as a club and how good we are.
“It’ll be a dream come true in my first season if we can win a trophy. I hope that I can keep at this so more glory follows”, he added.
Antony has one goal to his name in this competition and will hope to add to that tally at Wembley.

Manchester United are back at Wembley for the first time since their FA Cup final defeat against Chelsea in 2018.
The Red Devils will be playing their 53rd game at Wembley, which is more than any other team and will make their 10th EFL Cup final appearance, a tally only bettered by Liverpool (13),
Newcastle United have not won in eight consecutive games at Wembley, the longest such streak in the venue's history, and the Red Devils will be hoping that streak continues.
