Botswana sprint sensation has opened up about the African star who made him start supporting Chelsea while revealing why he struck the ‘Cold Palmer’ pose at Paris Olympics.
Olympics 200m champion Letsile Tebogo has revealed how Chelsea legend Didier Drogba’s heroics for the Blues turned him into a supporter for the Premier League club.
Tebogo was at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, when Enzo Maresca’s team secured a 4-0 victory over Southampton, and later spoke of his admiration for the club.
“What made me become a Chelsea fan is Didier Drogba. I was a big fan of him growing up, I loved his style of play then I became a Chelsea fan,” Tebogo told TNT Sports after the match.

Tebogo was seen doing the ‘cold’ celebration where Palmer crosses his arms in a shivering pose after scoring and he has revealed what was going in his mind as he struck the pose on the start line.
“I just thought of who is my favourite player, what can I do to make it more interesting because I knew I had the confidence in me to make it happen to get the gold medal but I did not want to say it out loud,” Tebogo further said.
