The retired footballer has discussed what former players can bring on board and help K’Ogalo grow.
Former Harambee Stars defender Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo has stated Gor Mahia legends still have key roles to play in helping the club grow.
Ahead of Sunday’s Mashemeji Derby against AFC Leopards at Nyayo Stadium, K’Ogalo legends met with Eliud Owalo, the Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of Information, Communication, on Saturday.
To Pamzo, the legends have expertise and the necessary experience, which is crucial in helping the club grow.
"We had a very good conversation with Waziri [Eliud Owalo] as Gor Mahia legends. We have been having Gor Mahia legends welfare, which the minister wants to support," Pamzo told Pulse Sports.

The Kenyan tactician feels K’Ogalo have collected three points from Ingwe even before the ball rolls.
"But the most important thing about us as legends is that we are on the same forum and we can help one another.
"We are still useful as legends, and for instance, as a coach, when Gor Mahia's team wants technical advice, I can always be there to help.
"Many of these legends can help because, at the end of the day, we want the club to grow and we want it to become a competitive team like it was before.
"These legends left a mark, especially when they were competitive in Africa, and that is what we want back at the club."

The Northern Irish tactician further says a draw or a loss will spell doom for their title ambitions.
The former Posta Rangers head coach also called on other clubs to start such initiatives that he believes can also be used to market Kenyan matches.
"This is an initiative that clubs like AFC Leopards and Tusker should follow suit. As legends, we can meet before a game and play, and this will help pull the crowds," he concluded.
"This will also give the fans a chance to see how the likes of Tobias Ochola and Peter Dawo were playing."
