Chelsea and Ivorian football legend Didier Drogba has congratulated Mohamed Salah's milestone achievement in the English Premier League.
The 'Egyptian King' leveled the scoreline in the 76th minute to mark a historic 200 goals for Liverpool. Harvey Elliot netted a superb strike in the 90th minute for his first goal of the season as the Merseysiders came from behind to defeat Crystal Palace 2-1.
Salah's goal marked several milestones in his EPL career, making him one of the greatest players to play on English soil.
The goal wasn't just his 200th for Liverpool but was his 150th in the EPL. He also became the fifth-highest goal scorer in Liverpool's all-time list and joined an elite league of the top 10 highest scorers in EPL's history, which makes him the highest-scoring African.
Drogba took to his X page, congratulating the Egyptian football legend. He referenced his tweet when Salah was crowned the 2017 BBC African Football Player of the Year.
"Well deserved my Brother, so proud of you!!!!!! Legend in the making. The best is yet to come"
