Coach of Nigeria's Flying Eagles Ladan Bosso has reportedly extended invitations to Premier League youngsters Ovie Ejeheri and Owen Goodman ahead of the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ejeheri is currently contracted to National League side Chelmsford but plays on loan at the under-21 team of Arsenal. Owen Goodman on his part plays for Crystal Palace's under-21 team.

Both 19-year-old players - goalkeepers - despite being born in England (Ejeheri) and Canada (Goodman), are eligible to represent Nigeria.

According to a report by FutbalGalore, the national U-20 team coach is hoping to fortify his goalkeeping department that already boasts of the trio of Nathanial Nwosu, Saheed Jimoh and Chijioke Aniagboso.

Nwosu, Jimoh and Aniagboso were the three shot-stoppers for the qualifiers in May and are again tipped to go all the way to Egypt next month.

In January this year, Ejeheri returned to Arsenal after a loan spell at Chelmsford City, where he was named Player of the Month for December.

Goodman on his part, only recently signed a professional deal with Crystal Palace after brilliant performances saw him coming through the club's academy.
