FOOTBALL Vihiga Queens and Zetech Sparks advance in FKF Women’s Cup
Six FKF Women's Cup matches were played on Sunday across the country.
Kitolo says he expects matches between the two teams to be enthralling and, at the same time, warned his players not to be casual because that could backfire on the day.
"My approach is that we have to go and win the Women's Cup game against Thika. But I have warned my players to be wary of the opponent.
But I have to assure our fans to expect an explosive match at Ruaraka because it will be an entertaining game," said Kitolo.
Further, it's worth noting that the students have beaten Queens three times in four meetings the two sides have had.
One of the wins mentioned above came in the first round this season, where they secured a 1-0 win in a league match played at GEMS Cambridge.
Puren Alukwe scored the all-important goal in the first stanza against the league-defending champions in that match.

FOOTBALL Bigwigs Vihiga Queens and Zetech Sparks face off with Division One minnows
Sparks and Vihiga will look to assert their supremacy when they lock horns with the underdogs in Sunday duels.
This will be the first time they face off in the cup game when they clash on April 15 at Ruaraka Grounds.
Sparks overcame a stubborn Division One outfit Bungoma Queens 4-1 at home in an action-packed Last 16 encounter three weeks ago.
On the other hand, Queen knocked out Migori Educational Centre from this year's tournament after beating them 5-0. Fred Majani's coached outfit are hoping to go all the way and reach the final for the first time in the club's history.
