St, Mary's Kitende is looking forward to matching Kibuli SS' record 11-title at the national Schools Games Championship - football.
St. Mary’s Boarding School Kitende will kick off its campaign at this year’s National Boys’ Football Championships in Fort Portal City with its eyes set on equaling Kibuli SS’ record 11 titles.
Kitende edged a Travis Mutyaba-led Gombe SS last year in Arua for their La Decima (10th) championship and looks even more poised to upstage all their opponents to their 11th trophy this year.
They start their campaign on Tuesday morning against Tororo Town College at the Bukwali Grounds.
The defending champions are in group A with the Tororo school as well as Bishop Comboni College – Kambuga, Jinja Comprehensive, Latifa Mixed, Teso Progressive Academy, St. Henry’s College Kitovu and Nakaseke International.
They’ll play a game every day in that respective order until Monday 15th May.
