Semakula has previously played for SC Villa, Simba SC(UPDF), Mbarara City, Ndejje University, Express and the defunct Kasese New Villa, The Saints and Kiira United.
Kitara Football Club has boosted their backline with the acquisition of former Express FC defender Hamim Semakula.
The experienced defender joins the Hoima Royals after running down his contract at Express FC.
He is expected to be a key part of coach Brian Ssenyondo’s defensive system as Kitara bounces back to the Uganda Premier League after two years in the lower division.

“We are glad to announce the arrival of Hamim Semakula,” the club confirmed via their social media accounts.
“The experienced left back joins Kitara following the expiry of his contract with the Red Eagles,” they added.
The left-back has previously played for SC Villa, Simba SC(UPDF), Mbarara City, Ndejje University, Express and the defunct Kasese New Villa, The Saints and Kiira United.
