Kisumu Day Secondary School on Tuesday, July 25 filed an appeal to have Agoro Sare Secondary School dismissed after they lost the boy's football final match at the Nyanza Region School Games but their appeal has since been disbanded.
Kisumu Day, going into the match as the defending champions, were sure of a win but Agoro Sare stunned them to win 7-6 on post-match penalties at the Maranda High School.

As reported by Nation Sports, Kisumu Day had written an appeal letter claiming that Agoro Sare had fielded an ineligible player in their final match which was the cause of their loss.
Kisumu Day Team Manager alleged that the player was part of the Dagorretti High School football team that was in action during last year's event.
