CECAFA U18 Championship final brings thrilling football action to Kisumu City with alternative viewing options.

The Council of East and Central African Football Associations (CECAFA) has unveiled exciting news for football fans as the CECAFA U-18 final is set to electrify the atmosphere at Jomo Kenyatta Stadium, Mamboleo, in Kisumu.

With a capacity of 15,000 tickets available for eager spectators, this championship final promises to be a thrilling spectacle on Friday when host Kenya meets archrival Uganda.

As the anticipation grows, CECAFA has gone the extra mile to ensure that no one misses out on the action.

For those who may not secure a coveted ticket, alternative viewing options will be in place throughout Kisumu City. Large screens will be set up, allowing fans to cheer for their favorite teams and players, even if they cannot access the stadium.

While ticket prices have not been officially released, during the earlier matches at Jomo Kenyatta Mambo Leo Stadium, the entry fee was a reasonable Ksh 100 for all spectators.

CECAFA aims to make this event accessible to as many fans as possible, fostering a sense of unity and excitement within the community.

Football Kenya Federation Vice President Doris Petra issued an appeal to the passionate fans who will undoubtedly fill the stadium and city.

"We understand the excitement, but when fans invade the pitch after the game, they deprive these young boys a chance to celebrate their win. Let us control our emotions," she said.

The CECAFA U18 Championship final will feature Kenya facing off against Uganda in a clash that promises to be a football spectacle of epic proportions.

Scheduled for 2:00 PM, this showdown will be the highlight of the tournament.

However, before the final battle ensues, fans will have the opportunity to witness an exciting play-off match between Tanzania and Rwanda, starting at 11:00 AM.

Kenya's Junior Stars earned their place in the final after a hard-fought 4-3 victory in penalty shootouts against Tanzania during the intense semi-final clash at Jomo Kenyatta Stadium in Kisumu on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Uganda secured their spot in the final with a well-deserved 1-0 win over Rwanda, setting the stage for an electrifying showdown between the two East African nations.

As the final day approaches, the atmosphere in Kisumu City is charged with excitement and anticipation.

In a region where football holds a special place in the hearts of many, this championship final is more than just a sporting event.

With the promise of an unforgettable showdown and alternative viewing options, CECAFA has ensured that this event will be accessible to all who wish to partake in the excitement.
