Kikomeko is excited to meet his former students like captain George Kasonko, Douglas Muganga, Joram Kirya and Anthony Mayanja.

Abbey Kikomeko may be new at BUL FC, but his reunion with certain new faces who worked with him at Busoga United will help him settle in fast.

Kikomeko is excited to meet his old students like captain George Kasonko, Douglas Muganga, Joram Kirya and Anthony Mayanja.

“I’ve handled most of these players whom I found at BUL and I believe this reunion will be key to meeting our targets,” Kikomeko said.

Good chemistry

He has also added strikers Lawrence Tezikya and Joel Madondo to his ranks, both of who worked under him at Busoga United and the Jinja SSS school team.

He believes this will set the ball rolling as he starts his toughest job yet.

“I have been with them when they were very young and know their potential, but most importantly, they are ambitious and disciplined. We’ve had a good relationship with them, and they know what I will always demand from them,” the coach added.

Kikomeko joined BUL from Mbale Heroes, where he worked for a season after spending over a decade at Busoga United and Jinja SSS.
