Kibuli SS will represent the country alongside Amus College and St. Noa Girls at World Schools Championship games.

Kibuli SS head coach Hassan Tembo has said that his team is almost ready for the upcoming World Schools Championships in Morocco.

The world tournament is scheduled to kick off on July 22nd and run up to the end of the month.

Tembo notes that there are small details to work on but is confident to handle that in the remaining period.

“There are some small things that are still missing but we’re ready,” he told USSSA after their build-up friendly against KCCA Junior Team over the weekend.

Inexperience

Among the details scratching Tembo’s head include the players since none of them has played at such a tournament.

“We have been trying to make sure we prepare these boys mentally and psychologically because some of them, it’s their first time to play in such a tournament,” he noted.

Kibuli SS will represent the country alongside Amus College and St. Noa Girls in the games.

Amus was invited while the two qualified after winning the respective East Africa games last year.

Kibuli has been placed in Group 1 alongside Qatar, China and Ivory Coast schools.
