Kenyan comedian Gogo Small has fulfilled his promise to walk naked after Manchester United’s loss to Liverpool on Sunday.
In his earlier post, the comedian had promised to strip naked should the Red Devils fall to Liverpool in a crucial Premier League encounter.
Small donned the club’s jersey before he removed it and stripped half-naked across the streets in Eldoret town.
"If Manchester [United] lose, I promise that I will walk naked tomorrow [Monday]. The location is Silverline," Small’s earlier post read.
"You thought I was not going to do it . . . I had promised my fans that if we lose, I will strip naked."
United fans were hopeful of a better performance at Anfield as they were buoyed by previous results; a win in the Carabao Cup final over Newcastle United, an FA Cup triumph over West Ham United, and Europa League progress at the expense of Barcelona.
However, Liverpool outshone them with goals from Roberto Firmino and braces from Cody Gakpo, Darwin Nunez, and Mohamed Salah, sealing a historic 7-0 victory.
While the win was crucial in Liverpool’s quest to finish in the top four, United suffered a setback in their title race.
