The 58-year-old tactician hopes his title rivals, including Gor Mahia will find themselves “in trouble” and slip in the race for the title.

Kenya Police FC head coach Zdravko Logarusic hopes his title rivals will find themselves “in trouble” as his side starts getting consistent results in the quest to win this season’s league title.

Logarusic, who has been in charge of the club for six games, where they have won two, lost as many games, and drawn the other two of their league fixtures so far, is looking to get the team to become consistent but hopes his title rivals will “slip” in the race for the crown.

“Our team was in bad form for a few games. I am also expecting other teams, Tusker, Gor Mahia, and KCB to have a bump,” Logarusic said.

“They could not produce (consistent results) game after game. Let us hope that we will start winning consistently very soon. Let us hope that our opponents who are also chasing the title will come in trouble with the points.

“We have a good squad and I believe we have a lot of space for improvement. Let us go game by game and I believe we can do it.”

The 58-year-old tactician came in to help steady the sinking ship at the Law Enforcers, replacing Francis Baraza, who was fired. He has overseen five matches, winning his first match 1-0 against Nairobi City Stars before losing by a similar margin against Sofapaka.

He then drew 1-1 against FC Talanta, lost 3-2 against Bandari, and then the 0-0 draw against K’Ogalo. Despite the mixed results, Logarusic, who has previously coached Gor and AFC Leopards, believes his team is getting better by the day and will be a force to reckon with in the near future.

They sit 12th on 11 points, a whole 10 points behind league leaders Posta Rangers.

They will face Ulinzi Stars in their next league assignment on Friday at Police Sacco Stadium in a game that will be broadcasted live on Azam TV.
