Kenyatta's charges had enough to force Leopards to a 0-0 draw despite playing with ten men for much of the second half.
FC Talanta head coach Ken Kenyatta is pleased with his side’s adherence to his instructions despite going a man down in their opening match against AFC Leopards that ended in a barren draw.
Talanta were forced to play much of the second half a man down after Lucas Waitere was dismissed for a second bookable offense, but it did not deter them from forcing a result against Ingwe.

FKFPL: Ten man-Talanta stand up to toothless AFC Leopards
Leopards could not find a way to claw through a resolute Talanta side who were reduced to ten men early in the second half.
“We were to play compactly because we were less by one person,” Kenyatta said. “They had an advantage of one person again and they did not use that player wisely but we played as a block to not concede goals,” he added.
The former Leopards and Harambee Stars goalkeeper is pleased his boys “gave their best” and did not “disappoint him” considering the lack of match sharpness for the first league game of the season.

Tusker were among three teams that won on matchday one as Gor Mahia were held by Sofapaka but a lack of goals for AFC Leopards and Shabana should be a concern
“It was a tough game. I think my boys have not disappointed me, they have given their best,” Kenyatta said.
