Thirteen-time Uganda Premier League champions, KCCA FC's overhaul seems to have taken a new turn as they have reportedly released two more players.

According to the Sports Nation, the Kasasiro Boys have parted ways with midfielders Mohammed Ssenoga Kagawa and Emmanuel Wasswa.

The pair has struggled to impress at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo during their respective spells, and despite still being contracted, their exits have been imminent.

And, apparently, the club has mutually agreed with the players to terminate their contracts.

Kagawa joined KCCA at the start of last season and made 17 appearances including just two in the last games of the campaign.

The versatile player, who still had a year left on his contract, has previously featured for Tooro United and SC Villa.

Wasswa on the other hand, also had a year left on his contract having spent two seasons at Lugogo.

Following a number of injury setbacks, Wasswa only managed ten league appearances last season and has thus been deemed surplus to KCCA head coach Sergio Traguil's plans.

The first bunch of released players included Ali Mwirusi, Brian Aheebwa, Benjamin Ochan, Geoffrey Wasswa, Allan Okello, Mustafa Kizza and Denis Iguma.
