Traguil, who was officially unveiled as KCCA FC's manager on June 12, 2023, has appointed Luis Manuel Correira Guerreiro as his assistant manager.
“Coach Sergio is a top coach,” Batambuze told Pulse Sports in an exclusive interview before adding.
“That’s for sure, because I played under him, and he understands the game; if KCCA FC signed him for what we all know them for (passing the ball), then they are spot on.”
Batambuzze however, cautioned that Sergio Moniz Traguil can only deliver if his work is not interfered with, warning that he can even abandon the project.
“The one thing KCCA FC must do, though, is to let the coach do his job else it won’t work. He (Sergio) can’t work with boardroom interference; he has to be the one running the show; that’s why he left Singida United.”
