None of the strikers at the club has been able to score consistently, which has left the team struggling for goals and relying on the likes of Rogers Mato.
KCCA FC fluffed the opportunity to go top of the Startimes Uganda Premier League after they were held to a goalless draw by Express on Saturday.
Victory would have seen the Kasasiro Boys leapfrogging Vipers and leading the log by two points.
But the one point only moved KCCA into second place, level on points with the two teams that sandwich them, Vipers on top and Villa in third.
The last three games will determine who lifts the title, and Ssenyange is confident his players will carry their scoring boots into Tuesday's clash with BUL FC to get the much-needed result.
Since squandering a two-goal lead to draw with Onduparaka, KCCA have failed to score in two consecutive games and must find goals to stay in the race.
"In the remaining three games, goals will matter a lot, and all emphasis was on putting the ball in the net," Ssenyange said in his pre-match press conference Monday morning.
"But we won't forget to deny the opponent scoring against us," he added.
"The players have been gelling very well, and there's hope for scoring goals."
With striker Tshisungu Kankonde suspended for the rest of the season, Ssenyange will have to rely on Muhammad Shaban, Brian Aheebwa and Charles Lwanga for goals.

UPL KCCA assistant coach Charles Ssenyange calls for calmness in the final third
That goalless draw means KCCA are without a win in three straight games and are now tied on 46 points with log leaders Vipers and third-placed SC Villa.
None of the strikers at the club has been able to score consistently, which has left the team struggling for goals and relying on the likes of Rogers Mato.
KCCA, Vipers and Villa will be playing at the same time in the last three games of the season, but every team will have to focus on winning their respective games.
"We are focusing on our game and we have prepared mentally and physically for the ball game tomorrow."
Asked about the challenge BUL present, Ssenyange sais: "Any team in Premier (League) is strong. They want to have a big name if they win (against) KCCA."
All the top three are tied on 46 points, but Vipers lead the log thanks to their superior goal difference (19). KCCA are second (15), while Villa (5) might have to count on accumulating more points than the other two to win their first league title since 2004.
