KCB FC maintained their unbeaten record in the 2024/2025 Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) season securing a statement 3-2 win over twelve-time champions Tusker at St. Sebastian Park in Murang’a.

The Bankers' high-flying start continues to fuel discussions around their potential to clinch a historic maiden league title, as they held off a resilient Tusker side in a tense five-goal showdown.

Patrick Odhiambo's charges win over Tusker extended their unbeaten streak to seven games solidifying their place atop the league standings.

KCB went into the match without first-choice goalkeeper Faruk Shikalo and prolific winger Patrick Otieno away on international duty for Kenya's African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against South Sudan.

Odhiambo, however, made strategic adjustments to maximize the resources at hand, ensuring his side retained their competitive edge against a formidable Tusker squad.

The game sprang to life almost immediately with KCB’s Francis Kahiro stealing the spotlight in the opening minutes.
