KCB FC have confirmed midfielder Michael Mutinda is doing well after undergoing a successful surgery after suffering a knee injury during a league match against Tusker FC.
In an update, the Bankers confirmed the 27-year-old underwent surgery to correct the anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee.
This means Mutinda will be set on the path of recovery to ensure he is fully fit to resume his career, with the coaches expecting him to return after the end of the season.
Mutinda had undergone scans to discover the extent of a worrying injury he suffered before it was decided that he undergoes surgery.

He missed two games before returning to action, having suffered a knock during a league match against Wazito at Muhoroni Stadium.
