KCB have played six matches in FKF Premier League action yet to taste defeat as coach Patrick Odhiambo recounts the key role it has played in their early season success.

KCB’s head coach Patrick Odhiambo has credited the team's unbeaten start to the FKF Premier League season for boosting morale and pushing the squad to deliver strong performances.

After holding defending champions Gor Mahia to a 0-0 draw on Wednesday, the tactician shared how the impressive streak has been key to the team's success.

The Bankers, faced a stern test against Gor Mahia, with their unbeaten record at stake.

However, a solid defensive performance ensured that K'Ogalo could not breach their backline, resulting in both teams sharing the spoils in a tightly contested match.

Despite efforts from both sides, neither team managed to break the deadlock, leaving the scores level.

The Bankers have now gone six matches without defeat, winning four consecutive games since their opening-day 1-1 draw against Kariobangi Sharks in August.

Their most recent victory, a dominant 4-1 win over Kakamega Homeboyz on October 19 at the Sportpesa Arena, highlighted their attacking prowess, bringing their goal tally to 10 while conceding just once in the league so far.

Reflecting on the team's form, KCB coach Odhiambo acknowledged the importance of maintaining their unbeaten run.

"That unbeaten streak is what is driving the team and giving them morale every day to fight and not lose. I’m praying we continue in the same spirit because I know a loss will be hard on them," he said.

KCB’s defensive solidity has been one of their standout qualities, having conceded just one goal in six matches.

This resilience will be key as they prepare for their next fixture against Tusker FC, who currently sit fifth on the table with nine points.

As the bankers aim to extend their unbeaten run, the clash with the Brewers promises to be another test of their title ambitions.
