The bankers created a flurry of chances but were unable to make them count which left them consigned to a 1-1 stalemate against Ulinzi Stars.
KCB head coach Bernard Mwalala has expressed frustration at his side’s profligacy as the bankers were held to a 1-1 draw by Ulinzi Stars in an FKF-PL match played at the Kasarani Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The bankers created a flurry of chances but were unable to burry them and in the end, had to settle for a point after forcing back a goal through Herit Atariza in the dying minutes of the game after Ulinzi Stars had gone ahead in the 84th minute against the run of play.
Mwalala was angered by his side’s inability to take their chances, as he feels that KCB should have killed the game off earlier.

FKFPL Last gasp goal denies Ulinzi victory against KCB
A late own goal denied Ulinzi Stars three crucial points as KCB forced the Soldiers into sharing the spoils
“These are two points dropped,” a visibly agitated Mwalala said. “We should have killed this game off very early,” he added.
“Then again, you have to ask yourself if we were getting into goal scoring areas but not scoring, we are not doing well as a team.
“We have to go back to the drawing board and identify ways of finding the back of the net because although I am happy we played well and we are creating chances, that is a small thing we have to work on.
“Football is a game of chances and whenever you get chances like that, you should bury them. We should have led this match.”
KCB sit third on 12 points, four behind league leaders Posta Rangers, who lost 3-1 to FC Talanta at the Ruaraka grounds in another match played at the same time.
